Hunt of the Crangtar Terror

Hunt of the Crangtar Terror is a 5th level one shot adventure designed to take 3-5 hours to play. The party begins in Crangtar, a small farming village seat at a crossroads between roads to larger, more prosperous cities. The village has recently been set upon by some strange beast or band of men, and nearly half their flocks have disappeared, along with a great deal of stored grain.

The party gathers clues from farmers and shepherds, eventually able to triangulate the zone of operation to a swath of forest outside of town. Tracking through the woods, encountering some beasts and a few trappers, the party eventually finds a strangely constructed treehouse and enters it to find a mad beast of arcane nature, swollen in strength by the food it had pillaged.
